New GRP Roof for a Luxury Garden Lodge – Plymouth
A premium GRP fibreglass roofing system installed on a new 20m²+ timber garden lodge, creating a seamless, low-maintenance and fully waterproof finish.
Project summary
This newly built timber garden lodge required a durable flat roofing system that would complement its contemporary design and provide reliable year-round protection.
Following the installation of new 18mm OSB3 roof decking, premium GRP edge trims were fitted around the perimeter. The roof was then fully laminated with fibreglass and completed with a UV-resistant grey topcoat.
The finished roof forms one continuous waterproof membrane with no joints or seams, providing a clean appearance, minimal maintenance and long-term weather protection.

GRP Flat Roof Repair & Gutter Replacement
Project Summary
Following a detailed inspection, the defective GRP sections were removed and rebuilt using new fibreglass matting and resin.
The roof was then prepared and finished with a new GRP topcoat, while the damaged trim and existing guttering were replaced.
This targeted repair restored the roof’s waterproof protection and delivered a clean, uniform finish without the unnecessary cost of a complete roof replacement.

GARDEN POND GRP WATERPROOFING
The prepared concrete shell was primed and lined with two layers of 600g GRP laminate before being completed with two protective topcoats. The result is a strong, seamless and fully waterproof pond finish designed for long-term performance.
GRP Roof Refurbishment & Topcoat Restoration
Rather than replacing the entire roof, this project involved restoring an existing GRP roofing system where the laminate remained structurally sound but the original topcoat had deteriorated and begun to peel.
The failed coating was carefully removed before the roof was fully prepared and finished with a new GRP topcoat, restoring a clean, seamless and fully waterproof surface. By refurbishing instead of replacing the roof, the customer achieved a durable, long-lasting finish while avoiding the cost of a complete new installation.

After two previous attempts had failed to provide a lasting solution, the existing under-deck storage room was completely removed and rebuilt.
We constructed a new timber frame and OSB structure before installing a GRP fibreglass waterproofing system. The internal surfaces were resin-coated for additional moisture protection, and an anti-slip floor finish was applied for improved safety and durability.
The result is a fully reconstructed, low-maintenance storage space designed to remain protected throughout the year.
